The Club celebrated successes of the past year during its Change of Command Banquet on June 21. Outgoing President Sherry Hartnett presided as the past year’s board members were recognized for their service, and new board members and incoming President Paul Tobin were welcomed.
Incoming Assistant District Governor Innes Richards, also a club member, officiated as Sherry Hartnett handed the gavel to Paul Tobin.
The Grover III and Sandra Robinson Awards were also presented. The Grover Robinson Award is given to a member of this Club that truly exhibits the “service above self” Rotary motto in professional, civic, voluntary, and other areas of his/her life. This year’s recipient is Dr. Henry Roberts
The Sandra Robinson Award is presented to a non-Rotarian person that exhibits “service above self” in their activities, involvement, actions, and everyday life in our community. This year’s recipient is Judge Casey Rodgers.
