The new slate of officers for 2009-2010 was installed at the Change of Command Ceremony recently. New club officers are: President Margaret Stopp; Past President Keith Bullock; President Elect Ray Jones; Secretary Innes Richards; Treasurer Ron Jackson; Sergeant At Arms Tim Kane; Historian John Appleyard.
President Margaret Stopp also introduced the winners of the Grover and Sandra Robinson Service Above Self Awards. The Grover Robinson Award for Rotary members was presented to Jerry Maygarden for his outstanding contributions in leadership in business and the community. President Margaret said, “Jerry exhibits the Rotary Motto in all areas of life—professional, community and family.” The Sandra Robinson Award was presented to Quint Studer. This award is presented to a non-Rotarian who also exhibits Service Above Self in all areas of life. Mr. Studer was recognized for his many contributions both financial and personal that enhance business, civic, sports and the future development of the community.
