Club Supports Scholarship Funds

Today the Rotary Club of Pensacola awarded $10,000 each to scholarship funds at Pensacola State College and the University of West Florida. President Dr. Ed Meadows accepted on behalf of Pensacola State. UWF President Dr. Judy Bense and Dr. Kyle Marrero, V.P. for University Advancement at UWF accepted on behalf of UWF. The Rotary Club of Pensacola has supported both Pensacola State and UWF since the establishment of each school as part of its literacy initiative and outreach. Both Presidents commented on the support of Rotary, and the value of these awards in assisting literally thousands of students in attending college over the years.
